With the relaxation of border controls between the North and South of the island it is now possible for tourists visiting North Cyprus to freely use airports serving the South of Cyprus and then transfer to the North. The effect of this significant change in travel arrangements is dramatic, with over 18 UK departure airports to choose from.
You can either fly to Ercan Airport (North Cyprus) with approximately 45 min stopover in Turkey or fly direct into Larnaca Airport (South Cyprus).
North Cyprus
The Pegasus daily service from Stansted will again be operated and reservations have started.
Prices start at just below £200 low season and just below £300 high season. However there are very few seats at these fares and they will sell out fairly quickly and thereafter only higher fares will apply.
From Manchester Pegasus will operate, commencing 30/3/11,a Wednesday service which is now bookable. In addition a Saturday service may be added. Prices from £188.45 return
Turkish Airlines are to make their service more attractive to persons travelling to North Cyprus and their service from Stansted, operated by their low cost subsidiary Anadolujet, is to be a through flight in due course. Fares will be competitive.
We think Onur Air will operate a charter service from May 2011 from Birmingham,Manchester and Stansted to Ercan. This service will probably not be available to persons wanting to book flights only, you need to book a hotel as well.
It is possible that Atlasjet will resume flights for summer 2011 with flights operating from Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester & Stansted. Prices not yet available.
There is still talk that a new airline will be formed as a successor to CTA but this is very speculative at the moment.
Details of these service will be added to this website when available

Northern Cyprus enjoys a typical Eastern Mediterranean climate with long hot summers and short mild winters. The natural beauty of the island, the lovely climate, the warmth and generosity of the Turkish Cypriot people and the abundant selection of fresh foods make Northern Cyprus an unspoilt and non- commercialised heaven.
There is virtually no crime to speak of, and this country is reminiscent of UK standards long lost, where hospitality, politeness and general enjoyment of life are the daily norm.
The majority of buyers prefer to choose the area during a visit rather than from brochures or the internet. Because you can't get a true feeling of a location from a computer screen or magazine.
Therefore we strongly recommend that you take an inspection trip before making decisions. The town and seaport of Famagusta is a fascinating mixture of ancient and modern with the old town within the historic city walls being in contrast with the modern town and port. For those seeking buy to let property there are some excellent opportunities. Some entire apartment blocks are sometimes on the market at very competitive prices. Combine this with a ready made market in the form of students from the university here and the potential becomes obvious. A very fast growing and popular area is the coastline of Famagusta Bay which curves towards Bogaz and Bafra. There are a number of very exciting developments along this stretch which boasts some excellent beaches. New, off-plan and pre-owned properties here should be on everyone’s shortlist.
Bogaz-Bafra and the Karpaz.. Many people consider this region to be the “new area of opportunity” for buying property and land in North Cyprus. We have took this into account when deciding where to open our head office. This is confirmed by the investment taking place in the surrounding area: a multi-million investment at Bafra, the huge “Big Old Bazaar” project in Bogaz, some exciting new developments in prime locations and a good choice of new and pre-owned villas, apartments and bungalows. On the Karpaz Peninsula development is strictly controlled to preserve the uniqueness of this area of outstanding natural beauty. Some selective development has been approved and a new marina is to built. Take a look around the coastal area near to Yenierenkoy, you may be pleasantly surprised.
